FILER HIGH SCHOOL: 1
The Lady Trojans traveled to Filer to take on the Lady WildCats. Wendell scored in the first 2 minutes of the game with a pass by Senior Noemy Acevedo to Yaidra Guzman (Junior) to convert into a goal. The Lady Trojans continued to attack Filers half of the field. Several shots were taken but we weren't able to get the back of the net. At half the score was Wendell 1 - Filer 0. Filer came out strong in the second half and kept Wendell on their toes. Half way into the second half, Filer scored a goal. Wendell continued to shoot on Filers goal but couldn't convert. Hard fought battle by Wendell. Great goalkeeping by Kasilda Arreola and Gracie Emery. In the end Wendell came away with a tie. Next your Lady Trojans take on Bliss away on Tuesday. Go Trojans.
