Today your Lady Trojans hosted Sugar-Salem. This was a non-conference game. As the game went on the weather became hotter. Sugar-Salem is a 3 time state champion and we welcomed the opportunity to play against a team like this. The girls played tough and well. Wendell held Sugar-Salem for the first 10 minutes before Suger-Salem scored their first of 8 goals in the first half. In the second half after re-grouping Wendell held them to 4 goals only. We had several opportunities but just could not get it in the goal. Thank you to all who came out today to cheer us on. Good Job Ladies. Next week we take on Declo on Tuesday away and host Community school at home on Thursday. Go Trojans!!!
