Today the Lady Trojans played the Lady Hornets.  This was the Lady Trojans first game of the season at home.  The Lady Trojans were excited to be able to play in front of their home crowd.  The weather was hot and humid and players were allowed hydration breaks at the 20 minute mark of each half.  The game was started with an international walk out and the national anthem was played.  The Lady Trojans had kick off  in the first half.   In the 15th minute Declo scored with shot outside of the box.  Just after the hydration break Declo scored again.  At halftime adjustments were made and Wendell held Declo for over 30 minutes.  Declo scored in the second half with 10 minutes left and then again with 5 minutes left.  The Lady Trojans played a great game, the defense worked together, the midfield did well in the diamond formation, which was something new.  The strikers had many shots but just could not get the ball in the back of the net.  The Lady Trojans travel Monday to Ketchum to play Community School, last years Conference and District champions.  Game is at 6:30 pm.  They are back at home on Wednesday to host Bliss, games is at 4:30 pm.
