The Wendell Trojan Baseball team opened the season in Meridian with ColeValley Christian High. Despite some solid pitching from starting pitcher Alex Hirai and Zack Woodward in relief and timely hitting from Hirai and Aden Bunn the trojans came up short giving up 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th in game one.
