Monday saw the Trojan bats come a live early posting 6 runs in the top of the 1st inning. Multiple hit game by James Hirai and Felipe Paniagua each with 2 and Donald Bunn going 3 for 3 with a walk to lead the offensive for the Trojans. This allowed starter Felipe Paniagua to settle down after a slow start going 4 innings giving up only 1 hit and 7 strikeouts was relieved by Keevan Lindsay in with a scoreless 5th to end the game due to the run-rule
