On Friday April 12th the Wendell Tojan Baseball team while playing in the Glenns Ferry woodbat tournament earn 2 wins over Soda Springs ( 9-0) and Wells Nevada ( 10-1) behind the strong pitching performances of Donald Bunns 2 hit shut of Soda Springs and Tristan Wert's and Blake Hughe's combine 2 hitter over Wells Nevada. With timely hitting and baserunning throughout the line up the Trojans were to complete a doubleheader sweep on day one of the tournament.
