Today the Lady Trojans traveled to Bliss to take on the Lady Bears.  Normally on Mondays the Ladys play second but due to Bliss' Senior night and also Wendell's Powerpuff game, they played first.  It was slow going for Wendell who managed to score only 2 goals in the first half of the game.  First goal of the game was scored by Lizeth Alvarado and then Maria Jimenez scored her first goal of the year as a Freshman. Naile Ramirez played in goal the first half.  At half time the score was 2 - 0 Wendell.  At halftime Wendell regrouped and came out playing well.  The sun also came out and made the weather humid and hot.  Lizeth Alvarado played keeper in the second half. Wendell continued to attack and several more goals were scored.  Naile Ramirez scored 2, Jenny Diaz scored 2 more, Nadia Guadarrama add 1 goal and Bliss helped with have 2 own goals.  Assists for this game were Jenny Diaz 2, Yadira Alvarez 1, Kyla Teixeira 1 and Yadira Guzman 1.  Next up for Wendell is Declo in Declo on Wednesday at 4 pm.  This will be the last conference game before heading to Districts at Sunway Soccer Complex in Twin Falls on October 6.  Go Trojans!!!
